Big Shocker!

In a story that couldn’t be any more predictable and obvious, the Washington Times is reporting that Amnesty International officials contributed to John Kerry’s Presidential Candidacy in 2004.

Not surprising in the least, considering AI’s recent disdain for the Bush Administration and it’s activities in Gitmo and Iraq.

According to the FEC, William F. Schulz, executive director of Amnesty USA, contributed $2,000, and Joe W. “Chip” Pitts III, board chairman of Amnesty International USA, gave the maximum $2,000.

The irony of the whole situation is that according to AI’s policy they are a Non-Partisan human rights organization.

  • Frankly, I expected no less from AI. They are a group that has held little or no credibitly in my eyes for most of my life. They are a leftist organization who has contributes almost exclusively to leftist candidates.
