Save Air America!

Miscellaneous
Air America

Folks, it looks like Air America is in financial trouble again… and I am BEGGING you, to please scrape up some funds and send em their way. Sure it might inflate some ego’s to see all of that money filing into their banks, but it is very important to keep these people on the air. Why would the loss of liberal talk radio be a bad thing? I’ll tell you why, and it’s as simple as two words: FAIRNESS DOCTRINE. I guarantee you that they would be marching down to the steps of Congress with some sort of documentation “proving” that conservative radio was what shut them down and that it wasn’t “fair” that they have to go, but the right can stay.

I urge you to send money to AAR and keep them afloat. Send any donations HERE.

Playing the phony numbers game

Lefties, Media Bias

I watched a ton of the media coverage on almost every news channel I can get on my Cable Network, and I always heard the same news about the mass murders in the Super Dome. It was shocking to say the least to hear of such horrible conditions that would drive people to murder, especially on such a scale.

That was until the OFFICIAL body count of the dead in the Super Dome rolled in at a WHOPPING 6… SIX dead. According to authorities, 4 died of natural causes, 1 of a suicide and another of an overdose. (which I guess you could call a suicide)

Here’s a quote from Cynthia McKinney D-Ga:

As dead bodies lay strewn about the New Orleans Superdome, military recruiters blew into Houston’s Astrodome to reap the harvest! (cheers) This ill wins that engulfs our country is also global in its impact! It dips into the Caribbean, hitting Haiti and Cuba! It reached into Latin America to slap Venezuela! (Yeah!) It swept death, greed, and destruction across Africa into eastern Congo! (Yeah!) And it breathes occupation onto the peoples of Iraq and Palestine!

The New Orleans Times-Picayune has even gone so far as to publish information under the headline “Rumors of Deaths Greatly Exaggerated; Widely Reported Attacks False or Unsubstantiated”

Sgt. 1st Class Jason Lachney, a major player in the rescue efforts in and around the Super Dome had this to say about the situation:

I think 99% of it is bulls—, don’t get me wrong, bad things happened, but I didn’t see any killing and raping and cutting of throats or anything. … Ninety-nine percent of the people in the Dome were very well-behaved

What makes me angered by all of this is that, in light of this GOOD news, the media is silent, yet it was they, who rode the coattails of this disaster trumpeting ever shred of bad news given to them without so much as a checkup to see if it was true or not. I have yet to hear an apology, and I have serious doubts there will BE one, from anyone.

The Sheehan was arrested.

Government, Lefties

Nothing big, just booked and ticketed… but still humorous.

-Article-

I have been to D.C. before and I can tell you, many cities (mainly capitals) have regulations that bar people from “parking it” on sidewalks and curbs. Tends to only exist in cities where large populations exists, to keep sidewalks from clogging.

My favorite part was when protesters were chanting, “The whole world is watching.” while she was being led off. Oh no! The world is watching our police forces DO THEIR JOB. Oh, but I forgot… the police are evil.

Police are Evil?
