Here are your weekly links!
PDFOnline - Ever been on the road or away from the office and needed to send your boss/client a PDF of a project you’re working on? This website will convert any of the following formats to PDF:
DOC, PPT, XLS, JPG, GIF, TIFF, RTF, PPS, HTML, BMP, PNG, EMF, TXT, PUB, WMF.
Boot Camp - If you have one of the new Intel based Apple Computers, you may have heard rumors that there were people out there hacking Windows to run on them. Well hack no more, now Apple themeselves have released an application (soon to be integrated into the OS) that will allow anyone with an Intel Mac to dual boot OS X, and Windows XP (reports are out that you can even triple boot with Linux). You must have a legal copy of XP for it to work.
GiftTagging - I used to use Amazon.com’s WishList feature quite a lot, but stopped when items I REALLY wanted from other sources weren’t available on Amazon. Enter GiftTagging! Now from ANY website, you can collect products you wish you could have to a general Wish List. Using a bookmarklet (or a FireFox plugin) all you need to do is “tag” the item you want to add, plug in a price, description, and any Tags you would like, and it’s added to your list. Not to mention the URL is nice and short, not astronomically long like Amazon.com’s.
