Looters get 15

Justice

Coralnelle Little- 36, Rhonda McGowen- 42, and Paul C. Pearson- 36 = GUILTY

That is the verdict handed down to the three charged with looting during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The three were sentenced to the maximum allowed time of 15 years.

They were convicted of looting 27 bottles of liquor and wine, six cases of beer and one case of wine coolers.

To that I say DAMN STRAIGHT!

During a time of crisis I am willing to forgive theft, ONLY if that theft is for your survival alone. Bread, water, medicine, shelter… THOSE things are essential to life. Beer, Radios, Plasma TV’s, Firearms, Designer clothing… you CAN live without and as such, if you are caught with these items, you should be punished within the full extent of the law.

There was no mention of race in the article but one has to wonder how long it will take for the ACLU and Jesse Jackson to come to their ‘aid’ if they happen to be anything darker than “white trash”.
