Mad about “something”?

I almost laughed out loud when I read CNN’s latest poll that states that “Most Americans are angry about “something” when it comes to how the country is run.

WELL DUH!

A majority of Americans said things in the United States are going “badly.” I’m so glad we’re being specific here…

Judging by this poll (and given its vague nature I’m skeptical at best) I would say come November of this year, the GOP might have to adopt a new logo…

  • What gets me about questions and pools like this is they’re so vague. Seems to me most people would have different criteria on what makes a country “move in the wrong direction”.

Of course, I guess it’s true that most people don’t think too deeply into it and might vote against an incumbent simply because they think a country is moving in the wrong direction, even though their neighbor across the street thinks it’s moving in the wrong direction, albeit for different reason.

  • I’ve seen “man on the street” interviews (no not Jay Leno) where they showed a pollster ask the same question two different ways and he was able to manipulate the mans answer by the way he asked the question. Polls are intentionally vague and therefore hold very little weight in the formulation of my opinions.
