PETA nonsense against Six Flags

Well it would seem that PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has nothing to do these days because the biggest cause they seem to be fighting in the press right now is a battle against Six Flags Great America.

Six Flags is offering, as part of their October Fright Fest promotion, unlimited line-jumping privileges to anyone who will eat a LIVE Madagascar hissing cockroach.

PETA spokesman said that this promotion is “gratuitously cruel”. S.F. Great America spokesman Jim Taylor says the bugs are nutritious, high in protein and fat free and refuses to let PETA scare them out of a promotion.
