ReviewMe.com">ReviewMe.com
This morning I went about my daily wander through TechCrunch.com and noticed a pay site called ReviewMe. The concept is that you sign up, list your blog and they use things like your Alexa, Technorati ranks and your incoming hits to establish a “price†for your blog entries (mine is set at $30 currently).
Once your site is listed, any advertisers who are registered with the service can send you offers for your blog. The selling point to me is that you don’t HAVE to post if you don’t want to, and it seems as if you get offers based on the content of your blog… (so you don’t see me posting about Levitra or some other crap for $30)
The website itself is very straightforward and quite easy to use and currently they’ve got $25,000 set aside to pay bloggers for a short 200 word review so YES I’m getting paid to write this, but hey… I’m willing to sell out to pay my bloggin’ bills!
If you have a topical blog and would like to earn a bit here and there go sign up and give it a spin… if you don’t like the service you can simply ignore it and never be worse the wear. I give it a month and I’ll see how I do. If it pays off and it doesn’t make my blog look like a political advertisement then hey… what’s a little cash for my time!
