San Francisco “Values”

Lefties

The San Francisco Chronicle published an editorial this morning titled ‘San Francisco values’ where they take on talk radio’s ‘beef’ with San Francisco in an attempt to figure out why so many people on the right of their left, cannot STAND their politics. They seem a bit confused as to what their own politics are throughout the article though so it makes for a good read.

Is it this city’s respect for individual rights — on marriage, abortion, civil liberties

Respect for civil liberties??? Is that a joke? Excuse me, but revoking your citizens 2nd Amendment right to bear arms does not count as “respecting their civil liberties”. Not to mention the refusal to dock an American Battleship as a war museum because it had guns on board. Wouldn’t want anyone seeing anything that may have caused someone harm… there’s no telling what damage that could cause to your psyche.

They go on to gush about Nanci Pelosi who they keep touting is the “next Speaker of the House” yet they conveniently leave out the fact that her Democrat counterparts in the House have to ELECT her to the position. It’s not a given that she just inherits the job.

I’ll pass on SF Values… thank you for the thought though.

Sorry James, but I’m proud to live in San Francisco and love this city. Hearing my city disparaged by the likes of you for weeks really makes me angry. Millions of people come to SF each year to enjoy the natural beauty and the diversity of our populations. Please, NEVER be one of them.

I never said your scenery was crap, but your response doesn’t surprise me since that’s pretty much spot on with what came out of the mouths of anyone I ran into when I was last in California.

Jason, I’m sure the Chamber of Commerce loves your point of view. I just came back from a week in SF. Don’t agree with the politics but they didn’t ask me what I thought first. Maybe next time they’ll screen better.
