I come from a part of the country where "religious freedom" often gets translated into "push your beliefs on me until I break".

I have no problem who or what you believe in, it's when it becomes indoctrination and you get pushy that I push back.

You know that most Christian fundamentalist are not 7day creationist? The video crew went out and tried to find the most disgraceful examples of Christianity they can but all they could find ways some 7day creationist that are polite and well meaning but have no scientific evidence for their beliefs. Notice how hard Pelosi tried to get offended when the girl disagrees even though the girl was very polite.

Many of the Christian who do believe in 7 day creation believe in it through a spirtual understanding. They understand that we can not prove it and it certainly does not look like the case but they trust God's word.

I feel this misses the point of Genesis which is not really about science but about the spirtual beginnings and struggles of humanity. Also, I recognize that Genesis being a poem (unlike Exodus and Deuteronomy) it is not meant to be completely literal.

But when push comes to shove in the end we must have religious freedom in this country and it is one of our founding principles. No matter what you think about how 7 day creationist believe, don't you believe they have right to their beliefs?
