Illegal? Head for San Fran!
Mayor Gavin Newsom vowed Sunday to maintain San Francisco as a sanctuary for immigrants and do everything he can to discourage federal authorities from conducting immigration raids.
“I will not allow any of my department heads or anyone associated with this city to cooperate in any way shape or form with these raids. We are a sanctuary city, make no mistake about it.”
Here’s news for Mr. Newsom… they are NOT, I repeat… NOT immigrants. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Illegal - adj. Not Lawful
Alien - adj. Foreign
Someone who has taken the effort to enter our country by all legal avenues and is working towards citizenship is an Immigrant and as a result NEED no sanctuary.
What ticks me off the most is his pompous “No one in this city will assist the feds” attitude. I’m sorry, but am I the only one who thinks this is totally backwards? If I harbor a criminal in my home, I am considered a criminal as well and can be punished as such but a Mayor with a political stick up his ass, can defy the federal government?
