Gore’s “Live Earth” concerts a waste of time
I said it about the Live 8 concerts that were supposed to somehow help out Africa, and I’ll say it again about Al Gore’s rehash concept Live Earth.
What in the hell will a gigantic rock concert do to help anything?
Spokesmen for the Live Earth concerts have issued statments along the lines of “People are aware of global warming but millions are not doing anything about changing their lifestyles.”
Again I say… and having a gigantic rock concert, consuming massive energy will do what to change the world?
I’m sorry, but bringing in bands from all over the world to play the same old tired music again and again, and then tell me how bad of a person I am because I use more than 4 squares of toilet paper to wipe my ass won’t change anything.
Once again we see the concept of “toss money at it and it will go away!”, and once again we’re going to watch it not work.
