Elizabeth Edwards Gives Up Tangerines.
It’s a sad day folks. Elizabeth Edwards will no longer be eating tangerines.
Why? Because she lives in North Carolina and they don’t grow locally. As we all know, fruits and vegetables and, well EVERYTHING we consume are shipped on trucks, trains and planes. Elizabeth Edwards is urging everyone to stop buying anything but locally grown produce to reduce our “carbon footprint” on the world.
Sorry Liz, I like tangerines…

I’m not going to mail a letter, wear clothes (no factories around here), read books (no publishers either)etc. etc. etc. Maybe Elizabeth could turn the thermostat down in her mansion and have a tangerine now and then.
