Double standard?
The US House of Representatives voted on a resolution yesterday, recognizing the importance of Christmas and Christianity in America. Yet another useless House Resolution, but when you look at the votes, there’s something interesting.
There were 9 NO’s from the Democrats yesterday from the following representatives:
Rep. Gary Ackerman (NY)
Rep. Yvette Clarke (NY)
Rep. Diane DeGette (CO)
Rep. Alcee Hastings (FL)
Rep. Barbara Lee (CA)
Rep. Jim McDermott (WA)
Rep. Robert Scott (VA)
Rep. Pete Stark (CA)
Rep. Lynn Woolsey (CA)
Now, rewind a while back for a vote in another stupid “gesture” resolution by the house to recognize and honor Ramadan, a Muslim holy day.
Who voted in FAVOR of this resolution? Why everyone on the above list except for Barbara Lee (CA). Interesting that they’ll pander to Islam to show how “compassionate” they are yet can’t seem to stomach a yes vote on Christianity.
