Wait… Global Cooling?
Well I hate smile about it but I did crack a smile this morning when the headline “Twelve-month long drop in world temp wipes out a century of warming” graced my inbox.
Hadley, GISS, UAH and RSS (the top 4 major global temperature tracking outlets) are reporting a GLOBAL drop in temperature ranging from 0.65C to 0.75C… in 12 MONTHS. According to all four recording agencies, this THE fastest temp change ever recorded (plus or minus).
Scientist studying the rapid cooling of the earth have made a link between the rapid decline in temperature to a lack of solar activity.
Now bear in mind my smirk was a result of the ironic reversal of Profit Gore’s dire predictions that we’re due to drown or melt in the coming decade… I don’t like the news that we’re in a rapid cooling trend either as rapid cooling is FAR more damaging than warming could ever dream of being. It should be fun to see how the anti-capitalists figure out a way to continue their quest based on cooling.
Lets see where this is headed shall we?
