It is almost official
Sen. Hillary Clinton is set to speak in New York tonight following the election results in South Dakota and Montana and according to CNN, will acknowledge that Sen. Obama has the delegates needed to become the Nominee for the Democrat Party. (Something EVERYONE has been telling her for months)
31 delegates are up for grabs in the remaining state primaries and Obama is 42 delegates short of the magic number needed to win the nomination. It doesn’t take an idiot to see that it is impossible for him NOT to reach that number. (25 super delegates are said to announce their pledging of their support to him tonight so he SHOULD come within a delegate or two or actually reach 2,118 tonight)
I do not see a Vice Presidential spot in her future but I do expect for her to have a pretty good seat in Obama’s administration were he to win in November.
Now we can finally focus on the REAL election… whew.

Prediction: She either becomes Sec of State or aims her sights at President Pro Tem of the Senate.

I’ve seen a LOT of noise about her being offered a spot on his Cabinet as his health care adviser, but I could see yours happening too.

Too bad for her not winning… There won’t be any more awesome political cartoons like this one: http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/hillaryclinton/ig/Hillary-Clinton-Cartoons/Hillary-Standing-on-Her-Own.-0SQ.htm

Tell me about it… that nutcase Terry McCauliffe was ALL OVER TV last night preaching about how she’s still in it to win it.
I’m not sure what “he has now surpassed the required 2,118 delegates by more than 30 delegates with more in the works” has to do with WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE!
