Vanity Fair Parody Cover - Where is the noise?
God forbid anyone in this country parody anything with our Lord and Savior Obama on it, but the noise following the New Yorker cover parody of how many Republican voters see the Messiah was beyond ridiculous.
Now comes Vanity Fair… with their answer to the “appalling” cover… are you ready to be offended?
I’ll allow you some time to get over your shock, and climb back into your chair.

Via Vanity Fair’s website they offer this explanation:
We had our own presidential campaign cover in the works, which explored a different facet of the Politics of Fear, but we shelved it when The New Yorker’s became the “It Girl” of the blogosphere. Now, however, in a selfless act of solidarity with our downstairs neighbors here at the Condé Nast building, we’d like to share it with you. Confidentially, of course.
To all of you (yes even YOU McCain) that had your undies in such a wad over the Obama cover… get over yourself.
