Bill Richardson on the Russia/Georgia conflict
Obama lackey Bill Richardson weighed in on what he feels needs to be done about the invasion of Georgia by “mother Russia”. On “This Week” on ABC Richardson alluded to the crisis in Georgia as somehow highlighting Obama’s wisdom through his zest for diplomacy but then stepped in a hole with his desire “to pass a strong resolution getting the Russians to show some restraint.”
I guess someone forgot to show Richardson the roster of nations ON the UN Security Council with super special veto powers. Wake up Bill, writing Russia a stern note on UN Stationary will do jack. Especially since they own the trash can, in which to toss your letter.
Remember back when President Bush said that he had looked into Putin’s eyes and said this: “I was able to get a sense of his soul; a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country.”
John McCain recently mirrored the Presidents comment but was apparently not wearing the rosy sunglasses. McCain has seen into Putin’s eyes… and all he saw was “a K, a G and a B.”
Now, military action against anyone else at this time is pretty much a laughable idea. We’re spread thin as it is… but come on. Drafting paperwork about how disappointed you are is by far the most apathetic halfassed reaction to the invasion of an allied country. Grow a pair Democrats.
