Lipstick on a pig

I’m not a fan of Barack Obama… I wish him the best of luck on November 4th but I hope he loses.

That being said, I want to send a message to McCain and the rest of you people flipping out over this “lipstick on a pig” comment made by Obama at one of his town hall meetings. Shut up… and report the context of the comment.

I googled the comment this morning and the first three pages were nothing but “If you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig” even from the media. No one seemed to want to print the FULL segment. Well here you go. Read this and tell me if it was a jab at Gov. Palin

John McCain says he’s about change too. An-an-and so I guess his whole angle is, watch out George Bush… except for economic policy, healthcare policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove style politics. We’re really going to shake things up in Washington.

That’s not change.

That’s just.. just calling something the same… something different.

But you know, you can’t, you can put uh, lipstick on a pig… [cheers] It’s still a pig.

I don’t know about you, but simply because Gov. Palin told a joke about lipstick on a pitbull… doesn’t make all lipstick jokes off limits. Obama was clearly speaking of McCain’s campaign and his advertised policies which he disagrees with.

  • Thanks for pointing this out as a distraction James. Seriously, what does this even matter?

  • You know how hard it was finding the ACTUAL quote? Took me 25 minutes!

It doesn’t matter… the campaigns have gotten so sensitive they’re all looking for ANYTHING to go ape over.
