Back in 1977, film director Roman Polanski was busted for (and PLED GUILTY) “unlawful sex with a minor”. While facing sentencing of his crime, and fled the US for Europe (specifically countries which would not extradite him to the US. Recently, while in Zurich to accept an award, Polanski was taken into custody and is facing extradition to the US to face punishment for his crime, and for fleeing the country.

Before we get into the throngs of hypocrites that are backing this pervert and demanding for his release and clemency, we have to discuss this matter of “unlawful sex with a minor”.

This wasn’t some bizarre Woody Allen story of him seducing a young woman into bed and then facing the rightful consequences… Roman Polanski flat out forcibly raped a 13 year old girl. In her testimony before a grand jury in 1977, Samantha Gailey detailed what happened that night. In her testimony, Gailey detailed acts of forced sexual acts by Polanski AFTER he had drugged her and against her repeated cries for him to stop.

I’ll let YOU read the details… HERE

The liberal Hollywood army of fellow directors and actors in support of this pervert has put front the charge that even his own victim wishes the charges be dropped as some sort of perverted affirmation that raping children is okay, so long as you are famous and wealthy.

Whoopi Goldberg had a discussion on “The View” recently over this very topic where she attempted to divert attention from his action by stating that we shouldn’t be so hard on the man since we do not know if his actions were “rape-rape” or not.

Whoopie, I am not sure how you can MORE than rape someone, is that like being “a little bit pregnant”? He plead guilty to the charges… therefore, he raped a child. You can’t dance around the facts. The law states it as merely “unlawful sex with a minor” but the testimony of the victim CLEARLY details the RAPE of a child.

Those in liberal Hollywood don’t even seem remotely satisfied with the thought of him facing punishment for his fleeing the country alone… One can only imagine the protest rallies, had this man been a Republican politician.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but for a party that prides itself on it’s “for the children” approach to many policies… they don’t seem all too willing to make someone pay for their actions against a child now do they?

Does anyone remember back to the lead up to the election? The throngs of people out there whipping up support for Barack Obama… IF ONLY we can rise above our evil ways and elect our first BLACK President then we will prove to the world how NOT racist this country is!

Folks lined up on November 4th to vote and in turn, elected that man as our 44th President (oh and he’s black).

According to many, this was THE defining moment in US history… where Americans stood together and declared how NOT racist they were… until some folks started to NOT agree with him.

You see, in this post racial America… if you disagree with the policies and aspirations of a President who happens to be black (half black if we’re splitting hairs), you can no longer do so on ideological, or moral grounds… you’re just a racist.

Rep. Joe Wilson broke with long standing decorum last week when he belted out “You LIE!” and now has been the first Congressman in US history to be admonished by the House for such behavior, and rightly so… it was neither the time, nor the place for the outburst. Joe Wilson made a major miscalculation in his judgment, big freaking deal… get over it already.

Now we have his fellow Representatives showing up on TV talking about how calling the President a liar over health care reform, will somehow bring out more racist sentiment towards the President… that it’s somehow okay now to be a racist now that people like Rep. Wilson called the President a liar. Alongside fellow Congressmen, we have a FORMER PRESIDENT… one Jimmy Carter who is also waving the race card over dissenting opinions to those of our President.

WAIT WHAT? I could care less if my President was a Woman or a Man or any color of skin or race under the sun. If he or she shared the political mindset of our current President… I would STILL disagree with them, as would MOST EVERYONE who does right now.

Sure you’re going to have a few nutballs in the mix… we’re human, it’s in our nature to go a little stupid at times, but when did it become the ONLY option… to label those who stand in your way racists, simply because you can.

Note to those who feel this is a GOOD thing for our country… to those who truly buy into the concept that disagreeing with someone like Obama, can only happen if you are a racist.

GROW UP and GET A LIFE

The sooner we can rise above the Middle School playground games and get down to real debate, the sooner we could possibly FIX some of the things that are truly broken in this country.

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Racism can be defined as “a belief that a particular race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.” (Merriam-Webster)

Making a statement, as one had above that stated (while you were a SITTING Judge) that you felt that your mere existence as a “latina woman” gave you the ability to judge facts against law better than someone who one would categorize as a “white male”, by definition, makes the author of that statement racist. Period.

If I go on record that I feel I can make better judgments as a white male than a black man, hispanic woman, or any other “non-caucasian” individual I would be slapped so hard with every label mankind has ever created, so fast my head would spin… and yet, I’m supposed to shut up and ignore the SAME statement from a Latina Woman.

Lanny Davis seems to think that the White House needs to come out and openly minimize her statement by framing her comment in the favorite Liberal safety net… the “misspeak”

“She misspoke. Every day that goes by that they don’t say she misspoke and she used the wrong words … they just feed it and give it life and give Rush and Hannity more airtime unnecessarily.”

She misspoke? How else does one out themselves as a bigot? Oh… she used the wrong words!!! Well, forgive me! Maybe we should shove a microphone in Sonia’s mug and ask her to rephrase her comments.

Some on the left are even asking that she not simply “rephrase” her statement… she should, wait for it… TAKE IT BACK.

Why not just side step all this “confirmation” bull squeeze that is slowing down the Democrats… they already get to overlook back taxes, killing women by running them into rivers and racist comments. Why let minutiae get in the way of a seat in the Supreme Court. Silly Conservatives!

White House staff decided early on that an open invitation from French President Sarkozy to have Obama visit the Normandy Cemetery, just “wasn’t going to happen”.

“During this trip, we wanted to maintain a balance between the British, German and France”

You know what… screw the huggy lovie bullshit!

American citizens, heroes and loved ones lie dead on foreign soil for eternity and you can’t be bothered to show respect for their sacrifice, even when INVITED?

The puppet running our country had time in his busy schedule to remove his shoes and show respects to the “peaceful” religion of Islam at the Sultanahmet Mosque in Istanbul… but he couldn’t be bothered to respect those that died for their country so that it would exist for him to run into the ground.

Let’s take a trip back in time shall we? How about January 20, 2005. In the words of several of our beloved self confessed liberal press outlets like the AP and Salon.com, President George W. Bush was being given a pass for his EXTRAVAGANT over spending on his second inauguration ceremony.

Eric Boehlert of Salon.com wrote;

This week’s inauguration story came ready with two interesting news angles: the huge cost (in contrast with the dire situation in Iraq) and the unprecedented security. And in both cases, the political press corps, as has been its habit under the Bush administration, showed little interest in prying. In the days and weeks leading up to the event, the press has largely treated inauguration criticism as partisan and silly, making sure to give Bush backers lots of time and room to defend the unmatched pomp and circumstance… For the media, simply reporting on the cost of the inauguration proved to be a challenge.

AP Reporter Will Lester spoke up on the lavish spending by saying;

The questions have come from Bush supporters and opponents: Do we need to spend this money on what seems so extravagant?

President Bush’s second inauguration will cost tens of millions of dollars — $40 million alone in private donations for the balls, parade and other invitation-only parties. With that kind of money, what could you buy?

Yet despite the complaints and groans from folks on the left (who were complaining because of WHO it was, not WHAT was being spent) here we are 4 years later watching the apparent second coming of Abraham Lincoln himself… to the tune of some $160,000,000 once all is said and done, and the AP gushes forth the headline “For inaugural balls, go for glitz, forget economy“.

They brush off the extravagance with excuses like “optimism is good for times like these” or laugh it off as Letitia Baldridge did with a light hearted, “Just say you’re doing it to help the economy”.

These folks REALLY need to work on their poker faces more… I can see every card in your hand from here.

Speaking on Good Morning America, Barack Obama had this little gem ready for all of us mean Conservatives who seem to take issue with his fork tongued female companion.

“The GOP, should I be the nominee, I think can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record. I’ve been in public life for 20 years. I expect them to pore through everything that I’ve said, every utterance, every statement. And to paint it in the most undesirable light possible. That’s what they do. But I do want to say this to the GOP. If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful. Because that I find unacceptable.”

Ok, let me get this straight, your wife has taken it upon herself (and you’ve let it continue) to interject herself into YOUR campaign. She made herself an issue in this campaign and there’s one way to reverse it. Tell her she needs to shut her mouth.

Telling the GOP that she’s off limits while she continues to stump for you, to tell America how mean we are and tell us all how well you’re going to do as our personal conscience, is stupid. The second she injected herself into your campaign she became fair game.

BTW, if your lovely firecracker is off limits, when do the DNC hounds get pulled back on Cindy McCain, huh? She has stayed out of her husbands campaign and yet her past drug addictions and income taxes are somehow “fair game”. Maybe if she piped up and told us all how mean we were and how unfair her multi-million dollar per year income is, she’s fall off the radar.

In the political world, nothing ticks off people on either side of the spectrum more than playing the Nazi card. The latest comments aimed back at President Bush from Hillary Clinton are more of the same in a long line of liberal hypocrisy.

In a speech at a celebration in Israel, President Bush said the following (which I completely agree with):

“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before… As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American Senator declared: ‘Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

Lines around the block formed in Washington of high level Democrat leaders just frothing at the mouth ready to condemn the audacity of a comparison of one of their own to a Nazi sympathizer… yet I seem to recall the very same people being strikingly silent during the last 7 years when all of this was being tossed about…

I know I know… Freedom of speech, expression blah blah blah… I could care less what you call the President, Speaker of the House or your mother for that matter. It’s just a bit telling when YOUR side does it and you turn a blind eye, but the second a Conservative does it you line up around the block to condemn them. The thing that gets me the most about the outrage is that he compared the policies set forth by the Obama campaign to an idiotic policy by Neville Chamberlain. Chamberlain was not a Nazi… and Bush did not call Obama or anyone else a Nazi. Bush condemned the idea of appeasing terrorist by comparing it to the OBVIOUS failure of a similar form of appeasement.

Funny how the N word is off limits ONLY if your a Conservative.

Speaking out against Obama’s albatross Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his continued racist tirades against white people and the federal government, Sen. Hillary Clinton issued the following half ass comment:

“You know, I spoke out against Don Imus, saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that. I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving.”

I’m sorry Hillary, Imus and Wright are in no way even CLOSE to being comparable on this. Don Imus’ comment, while tactless was FAR less damaging than the venom being spewed by people like Jeremiah Wright. Imus was raked over the coals for making a comment about a handful of basketball players, fired for his remarks and wagged in front of the world as an example of what happens when you speak ill of ANYONE who isn’t white.

Jeremiah Write is an ego maniacal racist who is getting a free pass for his comments based solely on the color of his skin. He stood in front of the NAACP and proceeded to mock “white folk” for the way he thinks they talk, clap, walk, sing, look and even how our marching bands sound. His comments were followed by ruckus laughter from the crowd watching his racist ramblings only egging him on for more. The BASIS for his speech was accurate in that we are ALL equals and we need to stop seeing people who are different, as those who are deficient… he seems to lack the ability to practice what he preaches. Had Wright been of Anglo decent, ten seconds into his speech, he would have had his mic pulled, and had been escorted off the stage, followed by a forced public apology, billions of accusations of racism and “hate speech” and would have immediately become unemployable.

Wright lampooned the Boston accents of the late President John Kennedy, and Sen. Ted Kennedy and added that ‘no one would tell a Kennedy that they speak bad English… just Black children.’ Well Rev. Wright… I hold everyone accountable for bad grammar and speech patterns. If a child approaches me and says “I don’t have no paper!” they WILL be corrected, and it has ZERO to do with their skin color or nationality.

People are ALL different, but Wright draws a HARD line in the sand between whites and blacks specifically. If you feel we all need to get along, why draw a line in the sand…

If you want us all as equals, eliminate the divisive policies like Affirmative Action, stop self segregating yourselves by hosting award shows for “black” artists, and hosting TV channels for “black entertainment”. The race pimps will march on God himself to “end” segregation, but will turn right back around and build the wall back up… NOT because they truly give a crap about their fellow man… but because FIXING the problem puts them out of a job and their ego’s cannot handle it.

One would think that with the passion folks like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have towards “furthering the advancement of the Black community” the mere THOUGHT of having a black President would make them wet their pants… well you would THINK so.

There’s one problem with the situation that seems to be coming to a painful head between Obama and his former pastor. His inauguration would NOT be a good thing for a race pimp like Wright.

Think about it for a moment. Jeremiah Wright is getting a lot of press, and attention for his “black people are still the slaves of the whites” bull squeeze… he seems hell bent on riding this wave to the peak of whatever race baiting mountain peak he’s climbing for. Why would he want that to end with a fellow black man in the highest office in this country?

If he can destroy Barack Obama’s hopes at the Presidency from behind the scenes, while pretending to care about the advancements of folks who share his skin tone, he can bolster his “credibility” with the race pimping crowd by putting up a “white men held him down” front… ESPECIALLY if McCain is President Elect.

People in the 15 minutes of fame hype tend to do stupid things, and I firmly believe Jeremiah Write would toss Obama under the bus for his own twisted agenda.

According to a recent study published by the FBI, “hate crimes” are up 8% since last year. Oh My God! Not HATE CRIMES! You mean “Thought Crimes” right? After all, that IS what they are…

Not to be outdone, Al Sharpton had to inject himself in for some publicity…

“The FBI report confirms what we have been saying for many months about the severe increase in hate crimes … What is not reported, however, is the lack of prosecution and serious investigation by the Justice Department to counter this increase in hate crimes.”

Come on Al, give us a damned break, you and I both know that hate crime stats are complete crap. It’s judicial hocus pocus aimed at handing out “justice” based on the thought process of the perpetrator at the time of the act. Think about it for a bit. If a white male robs a black male for the $100 he has in his wallet, was it robbery, or a hate crime? Well that all depends on the thought process behind the white man’s motive. Did he rob him because he was a petty thief or because he hates black people?

Wake up people, it’s just a fancy name for policing your thoughts.
