Back in 1977, film director Roman Polanski was busted for (and PLED GUILTY) “unlawful sex with a minor”. While facing sentencing of his crime, and fled the US for Europe (specifically countries which would not extradite him to the US. Recently, while in Zurich to accept an award, Polanski was taken into custody and is facing extradition to the US to face punishment for his crime, and for fleeing the country.

Before we get into the throngs of hypocrites that are backing this pervert and demanding for his release and clemency, we have to discuss this matter of “unlawful sex with a minor”.

This wasn’t some bizarre Woody Allen story of him seducing a young woman into bed and then facing the rightful consequences… Roman Polanski flat out forcibly raped a 13 year old girl. In her testimony before a grand jury in 1977, Samantha Gailey detailed what happened that night. In her testimony, Gailey detailed acts of forced sexual acts by Polanski AFTER he had drugged her and against her repeated cries for him to stop.

I’ll let YOU read the details… HERE

The liberal Hollywood army of fellow directors and actors in support of this pervert has put front the charge that even his own victim wishes the charges be dropped as some sort of perverted affirmation that raping children is okay, so long as you are famous and wealthy.

Whoopi Goldberg had a discussion on “The View” recently over this very topic where she attempted to divert attention from his action by stating that we shouldn’t be so hard on the man since we do not know if his actions were “rape-rape” or not.

Whoopie, I am not sure how you can MORE than rape someone, is that like being “a little bit pregnant”? He plead guilty to the charges… therefore, he raped a child. You can’t dance around the facts. The law states it as merely “unlawful sex with a minor” but the testimony of the victim CLEARLY details the RAPE of a child.

Those in liberal Hollywood don’t even seem remotely satisfied with the thought of him facing punishment for his fleeing the country alone… One can only imagine the protest rallies, had this man been a Republican politician.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but for a party that prides itself on it’s “for the children” approach to many policies… they don’t seem all too willing to make someone pay for their actions against a child now do they?

Back on April 27th, Obama had the NCAA National Champion Lady Huskies from the University of Connecticut over to the White House following a media event, to shoot some hoops. Perfectly normal occurrence, unless you’re in the Press Corps.

While Obama rounded the corner behind the White House with the Lady Huskies in tow… the Press Corps was barred access.

“After shaking hands with the team’s parents and members of Congress who showed up, the president walked the team over to his basketball court and shot hoops. The pool was held back from the stroll down the drive and around the corner, and couldn’t see the court. Poolers could hear periodic cheering coming from the other side of the bushes. Your Pool was not allowed to go over and shoot POTUS with the team shooting hoops. We protested loudly.”

It seems as if, the primary reason the Press Corps was not allowed into the event, was that the White House had their own film crew and interviewers on hand and developed their OWN press coverage.

I’m not going to cry foul just yet… I want to see how many more times this happens. If pumping out your own version of media becomes a common occurrence with this Administration I think we, and the press have the right to demand an explanation. There aren’t too many steps from personal press coverage to a nationalized press.

April 29th will mark the 100th day in office for our current President, Barack Obama. DrudgeReport.com has a headline up that got me thinking…

THE HUNDRED DAYS: SUPPORTERS INSIST HE IS GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER

I want to hear from these people. If you’re a supporter of this President I want to know how you think he’s doing so far. Do you think he’s the greatest President we have EVER had in the 230+ years we have been the United States of America.

Honestly, in my opinion, while a President is in office, let alone in the first 100 days of his first term, you can’t accurately judge them against the history books and MAKE that call. There are over 1,300 days left in his first term, anything can happen.

So, Obama supporters… I ask you, will your man change Washington politics as it is today? Will he keep his campaign promises? Will we come out in 2012 safer and better off than ever before?

I’m not one to watch beauty pageants… I personally think they’re pointless and ridiculous, but hey… to some people they’re wonderful. In case you happened to not turn on the news this week, Celebrity Gossip blogger Perez Hilton asked the following question of Miss California.

“Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”

To which, she gave the following response.

“Well I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. Um, we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and in, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think that it should be between a man and a woman.”

Apparently, since this answer did not fit the confines of Perez’ narrow views, he dubbed it “the worst answer in beauty pageant history” and even went so far as to call Miss Prejean a “Dumb Bitch”.

Now let me be the first to say that I COMPLETELY side with Miss Prejean on this one… she was slapped with a politically motivated question and she handled it wonderfully. I believe anyone that wishes to join in a union with another person should be allowed to, but she wrapped her personal opinion in the important clause of States Rights. She may not agree with same-sex unions (or marriages) but she did not come out and slap the audience with the usual rhetoric and put downs.

Mr. Hilton is a hot headed moron regardless and he knew very well that she had to answer the question so he essentially backed her into a corner.

The Obama Administration feels that the Newspaper, in it’s antiquated form, is worthy of a second chance… a service that relies on massive amounts of paper, tossed into your lawn to bring you yesterdays news.

The Bill sets up provisions for newspapers to restructure as Non-Profits for Educational Purposes that would allow subscriptions and advertising to be tax exempt, and make contributions to news coverage, tax deductible. There is one HUGE caveat (big shock coming from this control obsessed administration) that bars them from making any political endorsements.

Congress shall make no law …abridging the freedom of the press…

I’m all for setting provisions in these bailouts and restructuring bills but telling them they are prohibited from making political endorsements is a restriction of their rights as a free press.

Why are we so worried about saving newsprint… it’s a dead medium. We live in an era of instant information and, in my opinion we should be encouraging growth where it is being demanded. People aren’t dropping their paper subscriptions because of the political endorsements… it’s pointless to pick up yesterdays news when we can get what is happening at that very moment online. I could care less if every paper in the US supported some stupid political candidate. At least by announcing it to the world I know they’re biased to that politician going into it.

As most of you know by now… Talk Radio host Michael Savage (known for his off color and intentionally inflammatory remarks) let loose with his personal opinion of autism… royally ticking off mothers nation wide.

Now, you want me to tell you my opinion on autism, since I’m not talking about autism? A fraud, a racket. For a long while, we were hearing that every minority child had asthma. Why did they sudden — why was there an asthma epidemic amongst minority children? Because I’ll tell you why: The children got extra welfare if they were disabled, and they got extra help in school. It was a money racket. Everyone went in and was told, “When the nurse looks at you, you go, ‘I don’t know, the dust got me.’ ” See, everyone had asthma from the minority community. That was number one.

Now, the illness du jour is autism. You know what autism is? I’ll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out. That’s what autism is.

What do you mean they scream and they’re silent? They don’t have a father around to tell them, “Don’t act like a moron. You’ll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don’t sit there crying and screaming, idiot.”

Autism — everybody has an illness. If I behaved like a fool, my father called me a fool. And he said to me, “Don’t behave like a fool.” The worst thing he said — “Don’t behave like a fool. Don’t be anybody’s dummy. Don’t sound like an idiot. Don’t act like a girl. Don’t cry.” That’s what I was raised with. That’s what you should raise your children with. Stop with the sensitivity training. You’re turning your son into a girl, and you’re turning your nation into a nation of losers and beaten men. That’s why we have the politicians we have.

Now parents of autistic children want him pulled from every station that runs his show and for him to be fired from his radio career. Trust me people… he’s said FAR worse.

I do believe there are misdiagnosis of diseases from children to adults… that’s not to say that a good percentage of children diagnosed with autism DON’T have it… but I do think his 99% mark was a GROSS over estimate. I think ADHD and ADD are a load of crap… but that’s my personal opinion.

The man is entitled to his opinion… he wasn’t calling for autistic people to be rounded up and shot, he said that he thinks it’s a load of crap.

Who cares if what he said was “insensitive”, if the words of a man who you don’t even listen to, do that much damage to you or your family then I would say it is you that has an issue, not he. Grow a thicker skin and ignore people like him.

So you don’t like his opinion… he should be silenced to suit your sensitivities? Sorry, we have freedoms in America, and one of those freedoms is for anyone to be able to spout off their opinions regardless of your disagreement.

Do I think he was off the mark? Yes… do I think he should lose his job or be gagged? Hell No.

Get over it and take care of your kids.

I’m sure by now you have all seen this “controversial” cover for the recent issue of The New Yorker. If not, take a peek below.

Here is why it is being reported as “controversial”… Obama is offended. That’s the ONLY reason this is big news. Had this been a cover with John McCain armed to the teeth with guns and knives stomping on little Muslims, Obama and his campaign staff would be yucking it up over a freshly opened bottle of champagne.

Poor little Obama… he doesn’t get satire very well. Apparently he missed the obvious commentary on the over blown scare mongering by many people bent on derailing the Obama campaign via information.

Just pull up media archives of interviews from numerous primaries, where voters were afraid vote for him because he was a Muslim, or reports that he hates America because he doesn’t wear a silly $2 Flag pin… THAT is what this cartoon is satirizing… it’s not “racist” or “insensitive” or any of the other crap the Obama and McCain campaigns want you to think it is.

Yesterday, while getting prepared for a segment on Fox News on health care, Jesse Jackson was caught on tape when he whispered the following:

“See, Barack has been talking down to black people… I wanna cut his nuts out.”

Once the clip became major news, and he realized that he had been caught on tape, Jackson jumped on the chance to be seen on TV again and said that his comments were “regretfully crude and hurtful” but seemed to write it off by saying that it wasn’t a public speech or declaration. (I don’t see how that matters, since you said it anyway)

I could care less what he said or where he said it but one thing seems clear… he is LOVING the press attention. His ugly mug was on EVERY news channel last night where he took the spotlight to lecture us on how important HE was to civil rights, and what HE had been through history, etc.

I’m willing to put money on the fact that he’s pissed off that Obama has succeeded where he himself failed and he’s doing anything he can to attempt to remain even remotely relevant.

Go away Jesse, the world could use fewer race pimps.

Dear Nancy Pelosi,

I hate to break it to you and your “fairness” police but capitalism ROCKS. We all know you absolutely HATE that anyone would dare listen to Rush Limbaugh (or any other right wing radio) and we all know how you salivate at the thought of shutting him down out of “fairness” for the “common good”…

I thought I would pass this little bit of news on to you and the rest of capital hill for you to loath.

LIMBAUGH SIGNS THROUGH 2016; $400 MILLION DEAL SHATTERS BROADCAST RECORDS

Clear Channel and Premiere Radio have renewed Rush Limbaugh’s contract through 2016 on ALL of their syndicated channels, and they’re going to pay him $400,000,000 dollars for it. (That’s $50 Million a year people…)

Now I ask you this… in our country, everyone is free to speak their mind, as well as free to ignore someone if they disagree. Why, would a radio station pay a man $50 million a year for 8 years into the foreseeable future if he was unfairly exploiting our ears. It’s called capitalism Nancy and it belongs to the people, not you.

If enough people are listening to a message to warrant paying the messenger GOBS of cash, then apparently his message is in demand. If it wasn’t, he wouldn’t be making ripples in the press as he rockets through the pay ceiling.
