No, not at all. What troubles me most about this is the willingness with which they go about presenting their bias--by claiming to be above it of all things--and completely losing any credibility they have.

Yes, this is a little messed up. Not sure if Honduras has a provision in their constitution for impeachment or procedural removal. If so, I think that would have been a bit more appropriate than having the military arrest the president. But on the whole, I have to say that if the head of the military who arrested Zelaya has stepped aside and the new president, who is next in line in the constitutional succession, is truly governing without undue influence, then it is a victory for Honduran democracy. Just my two cents.

If FBI agents are in fact Mirandizing captured jihadists
in Afghanistan, or any where else, the person responsible for ordering it be done, should be impeached. There's only one who can order such and that is the one who believes we are a "nation of cowards", the brave Eric Holder, Atty Gen of the US? Never happened with out "Acorn" Obama's approval.

This doesn't surprise me coming from Kerry. John K. and Jane F. have been MIA for many, many years. They will never find their way home for they think they are already there. Their real home is North Vietnam.

The issue of North Korea will have to be dealt with eventually. However, the longer any problem is avoided the more difficult and painful the solution will be. One may sit back and hope it goes away or one may take action. No easy answers here.

Since when did governments play by the rules?

If you can have an internationally illegal war, killing hundreds of thousands because of suspected WMDs, killing one nutter for actually having them seems like a move in the right direction.

Oli ... assassin's? The liberals outlawed that years back. Frank Church's committee in the '70's essentially closed the door on secretly turning out the lights on leaders we don't like. They figured it was more meaningful and dignified to reason with madmen. So, instead of a couple of spooks sneaking in and ending Sadam's miserable career we send in the whole "shock and awe" team. Many people have died needlessly.

So do we appease the madman and try to talk reason or do nothing and wait and see if the missiles really work. I liked the good old days. Pop a cap in his ass while he sleeps.

North Korea is really the paper tiger here. Nothing but hot air. The only danger is the exportation of nuclear and missle technologies.

Say a guy goes on a killing spree in a neighbouring town. He's in an area that holds the death penalty. This M.A.D. argument would have the afflicted town slaughter him and a significant number of his home town. How does that help anybody involved?

How do you teach children not to play with fire? Set them alight? Burn their house down? Or do you try to reason with them before anything bad happens?

I agree the UN is a bit of a joke as far as "getting things done" goes, but mutually assured destruction means *nothing* to a madman.

Whatever happened to assassins? I'm sure it's frowned upon internationally but I'd wager few people would miss him.

Honestly.. if N. Korea DID actually HIT the US, I would fully support the full might and power of the US Armed forces and our entire weapons arsenal to turn them into an extension of the Pacific Ocean.

He might be an insignificant punk, but by far... the best we've come up with, as a "global society", is to run to the UN and issue another declaration of disappointment.

If you let the petulant child play with fire, sooner or later, he's going to burn your house down.

Now don't get me wrong here... if NK was to actually DO something and Obama put his foot down and smeared them off the planet, I would applaud the man for it. I just don't see him being too much in the defense arena.
